Alle kamers van het Hotel Asafuji bieden uitzicht op de berg Fuji en het Kawaguchimeer en beschikken over baden met warm bronwater. De service was top en het eten was heerlijk. We sliepen heerlijk op de futonbedden. Ook fijn dat ze een onsen hadden. Daar kan je heerlijk even ontspannen. Echt een aanrader wanneer je even wilt ontspannen.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. Ze deden erg hun best om ons op het gemak te laten voelen, doordat ze Engels spraken. Prachtige kamers.

八海 木花館 ligt in Oshino, op 10 km van pretpark Fuji-Q Highland, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren en een tuin. Dinner and breakfast are exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very private and secluded area which is perfect.

Ryokan Fuji Heights ligt in Fujikawaguchiko, op 1,5 km van Kawaguchimeer en 3,6 km van pretpark Fuji-Q Highland, en biedt accommodatie met een barbecue, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Koike-san greeted and picked our family up from the station which was great as it was raining. His house has a very warm, homely feel run by him and his wife. My 2yo son loved the experience of making your own futon bed and getting served a light breakfast in the morning. The room did get cold in the night but the futons and blankets kept us surprisingly warm & cosy. It's about a 20min walk to the station area but you can walk along the lake which is nice and scenic. There's also shops and restaurants about 5mins walk from the house. Overall we loved the experience and it was great value, we would recommend to others and will come back again next time.

Private Hotel Rei is gelegen in Fujikawaguchiko, op 7,1 km van Kawaguchimeer, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. The location is exceptional. I had the chance to see Mount Fuji directly from my room. The staff is warm and friendly, and Yoshi is an amazing host as well as an excellent cook. He even drove me to the train station on the day of my departure, although he wasn't obligated to do so, and he showed many thoughtful gestures throughout my stay. A big thank you. (As an added bonus, other guests I saw brought their dogs with them, and they were all adorable.)

Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel ligt op slechts een minuut lopen van het Kawaguchiko-meer en biedt accommodatie in Fujikawaguchiko, in de buurt van de Kawaguchiko Ohashi-brug. The lakeside hotel is a charming, older style Japanese hotel. Everything was so clean & the location right next to the lake and restaurants was amazing. We got lucky in that there were not many quests staying so we had the entire onsen area to ourselves the entire stay. The host/owner is so lovely and welcoming he made our time in Kawaguchiko even better! You also can’t beat the views you get from the hotel of mt fuji! Great value for money. Loved it!

Teiensaryo Yamanakako heeft een prachtige Japanse tuin en ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van het busstation Fujikyu Asahioka in Yamanakako. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de openbare ruimtes. Our time at Teiensaryo was incredible! It's a family-run place and they were incredibly generous with their time and other gifts. The onsen facilities were well-equipped and easy to understand. The highlight was definitely the room. The view over the garden and koi pond was unmatched - I even got to feed them! Highly recommend. Cheers from Australia 🦘

Amazing hotel, the best one we stayed at in Japan! Beautiful room and view over Lake Kawaguchiko. Great value for money since they serve free buffets with hot and cold dishes 3 times a day, breakfast, tea and cocktail hour. You can eat all your meals there. Also for cocktail hour alcoholic drinks are free and they have a good selection of spirits from around the world. Calm, spa like feeling in the hotel with women & men onsen and privet onsen (45min per booking). Super close to the Fuji view cable car.
