It had very beautiful rooms that are nice and spacious, and we had a view of Hiroshima from our room. The food was excellent and the futons soft. The public bath was also nice and clean with a good size. The transfer bus service is excellent and the staff is helpful. 10/10

Besides amazing nature views, comfortable rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Yukata robes and green tea are provided. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. I booked this hotel for my parents. When I asked questions by email, their staff reply very quick and kind. My parents were really happy about all the service they got, enjoyed the bath, dinner and breakfast. I booked ocean view room for them, they said the view was amazing from the room, and also they could even enjoy the night view from the dinner place. Seemed like all the staff there is very kind and friendly, they felt very warm inside and they had an amazing stay.

Rooms in the Annex include a private bathroom with a bath and toilet, while rooms in the historical Main Building and Cottage Annex have shared bathrooms and toilets. The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

Perfect location, staff amazingly nice and pleasant. The food was also delicious.

Yukata robes and a private toilet are included in each room, but bathrooms are shared. The shared bath is available from 16:00 to 23:00. The property is gorgeous and so centrally located that it took us less than 5 minutes to walk from the ferry to it, even in the pouring rain. Likewise, the main attractions of Kawaguchi (apart from the hiking trails) are mere minutes away. But the real star is Yoko-san, the proprietor. She is such an angel! Her warmth and hospitality raises the bar even in a country that's generally considered the gold standard in customer service. I'd pick Ryoso Kawaguchi over a 4-star hotel any day of the week. You get the authentic ryokan experience on Miyajima island and I can't recommend it enough.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. There is nothing I could fault about this resort. We even had private shuttle taking us to train terminal

This 2-star ryokan offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service. Momijidani Park is less than 1 km away and Museum of History and Folklore is a 12-minute walk from the ryokan. We loved everything about this stay! The island was magical, the room was so lovely and we enjoyed having traditional breakfast while wearing yukata. The location is excellent as well, both the ferry and tori are so close.
