The bathroom was in need of decorating and the bath towels were a bit old, but everything was clean,

I liked the pub's location and the bed was very comfy,

Breakfast was OK...seemed a bit pricey for what you actually got, which wasn't a lot unless you went for the unlimited option, which was very expensive. The food quality was good, but I did find a rather long hair in my cooked breakfast. A bit of noise disturbance from the reasonably busy road, but not too bad.

The staff were all very helpful a friendly. The room was OK...felt a little sterile, but a comfortable (slightly creeky bed) and good levels of cleanliness were all plus points.

I asked for a takeaway breakfast of some sort but was told I could have breakfast at 07:30 - I still couldn’t get in and had to leave at 07:45 because there was no signs of life to even hand a key in to. Not happy.

On the whole a nice place.

Quite close to main road so traffic noisy and regular. Bed mattress could do with changing as springs are sticking out in places and not very firm.

Relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff, nice outside area with lovely pizzas to enjoy in the sunshine.

The Inn looked a little "tired" overall. The hot tap in the basin was very loose and difficult to get water on and off. We were surprised when we got back on the second evening that no one had been in to make the bed and replenish the teas/coffees etc

It was good value for money. Lots of choice for breakfast at very reasonable price. Clean and reasonably comfortable.

My only comment is there seemed to be a lack of hot water from the shower. We showered relatively early (between 7-8am) but second person had lukewarm to tepid water each day. Perhaps a capacity issue or just an issue for our room? Not a major issue and wouldn’t detract from returning in future

We chose property due to its location near to Severn Valley Railway as we were attending an event here. Property was easy to find, had on-site parking. Our room was spacious, with nice bathroom and dog friendly. Good breakfast choices and cooked breakfast arrived hot and delicious.

Bed, although comfortable was low to the floor. Style of room was a bit dated.

Friendly staff, nice tasting average pub food, although the service was slow. Good shower.

The bin in the room hadn't been emptied and contained rubbish. There was toothpaste on the bathroom tap which I initially thought was limescale until it wiped off. There was no heating in the room, despite turning the thermostat on the radiator on, it was freezing that night. I had a really nice meal and had planned to enjoy a few drinks and complete some work (which I couldn't do as the WiFi wasn't working) but after having my food delivered, I sat for approx 40 minutes without ever seeing a member of staff so I went back to the room. It seemed like out of sight out of mind sadly. I was asked if I enjoyed my stay on checkout, despite stating there was a couple of issues, I wasn't asked any further about what they were. Despite the niggles, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Lovely quirky pub. Spacious room, very large and comfortable bed. The staff member who checked me also showed me to my room and explained about the exterior door and fire alarm. Although he had finished his shift, he had no issues helping me with the WiFi issue and showing me to a table. Great service.

No major dislikes whatsoever, the in room fridge could have been a little larger, however not a problem just something to note.

The modern rooms, the facilities at the property & the polite, helpful staff. The pub itself serves excellent food at reasonable prices given the quality of the meals.

Plumbing was a bit of a problem, tap and shower fittings fell off but staff were very apologetic and compensated us with breakfast on the house, we were also assured that the problem would be fixed.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly and made us very welcome.

Waiting for breakfast which was very slow to be served [bearing in mind there was only one other person taking breakfast on both mornings we were having breakfast... ] The member of staff serving breakfast seemed completely disinterested, not the best start to our day.

A very warm and cosy bar area. [which was particularly welcome as throughout our stay the weather outside was cold and wet!.] Friendly bar staff upon our arrival. Very enjoyable evening meals with attentive staff serving us.

In the Gooseberry room the bed was beneath the velux window which I wasn't keen on because of down draughts, particularly in winter and I am susceptible to the cold.

Helpful staff. Comfortable, spacious room. Great bath. Enjoyed the bar and eating area and lovely to have the woodburner to make it all cosy.
