Gorgeous property in the middle of a lake, it is secluded there aren't any other properties in the area unlike Lake Pichola which is where all the famous properties are located. It is around 35 minutes away by car from the historic center. The place is new and offers amazing nature and views over the lake. The communication with the property prior to our arrival was excellent they responded to my queries very quickly and they contacted me one day before our arrival to arrange for our arrival since you need a boat to reach the property. A wide range of activities to do, so you will not get bored at all, some are free and some at an additional and reasonable cost such as hiking, yoga, tennis, shooting and even cooking classes. The Spa was amazing one of the best messages thanks to Tshering for the great message. Outstanding service the staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time, special thanks to Nikita who did her best to accommodate our needs during the stay.

The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. The staff also helped book a taxi to the airport which was very helpful! We had welcome drinks too! There was a lake view too which made having breakfast and dinner enjoyable. Dinner was nice and worth trying out when there. The architecture and design was nice too! The 250 year old tree at the entrance is amazing too!

The villa offers a variety of activities like yoga, gym sessions, walks, and spa treatments, providing a private retreat with a stunning morning view. The staff made sure to understand our family's likes and dislikes, ensuring that every part of our stay was just the way we wanted. The personalized touches, such as thoughtful amenities and a handwritten note from the staff, added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. The resort's food was a delightful surprise at every meal, freshness of ingredients and the chef's skill were evident in every bite, making dining at the resort a memorable experience. The 24/7 open pool is an instant retreat, offering relaxation on demand. Very happy to say this is not the last trip I will be making to Vatsalya Vihar.
