Iam usually to lazy to write reviews but Barrio Vivo really deserves one. They did put so much attention for detail, energy and passion in this Hostel that I was impressed. Especially as a solotraveller you feel well placed. They have amazing people like Maru and Maude who will make you feel at home, a whatsapp group to connect the guests and there is a lot of activities organized so you never get bored. The kitchen is well equipped and the common area is a great spot to meet new people. I will always come back if i come to the wonderful city of Merida.

Hostel Casa Xtakay er staðsett í Valladolid, í innan við 45 km fjarlægð frá Chichen Itza og býður upp á garð, reyklaus herbergi og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Such a cute family run hostel with a great atmosphere! They're super friendly, always ready to help you, give you great tips for what to see and do, or just there to have a chat. There are both dorms and double rooms, which makes it a nice mix of people staying at the hostel. The garden in the back provides a nice place to chill, socialize, and to enjoy the amazing breakfast. The location is just perfect in the city center.

Hostal La Ermita er staðsett í Mérida og býður upp á útisundlaug. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði. Sameiginleg setustofa og leikjaherbergi eru í boði á staðnum. Sameiginlega baðherbergið er með sturtu. It has a really good price for what they offer. The location is not in the city centre but you can definitely walk to the centre. There are some small shops and a supermarket close. There's a pool which was essential for the warm weather. And the guests and staff were very friendly.

Hostal Tunich Naj & Hotel er staðsett miðsvæðis í borginni Valladolid. Boðið er upp á einföld gistirými og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. Öll herbergin í svefnsalsstíl opnast út á svalir. Nice people, garden also very good, kitchen is ok. Location is near center, 5 minutes by foot. Breakfest is not included, that would be better for owner and guests ofcourse.

Hostel Candelaria er staðsett miðsvæðis í Valladolid-borg, í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá aðaltorginu og í 500 metra fjarlægð frá 180 Cancún-Valladolid-hraðbrautinni. Everything was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the facilities were nice, clean and comfortable, not to mention the beautiful garden and the delicious breakfast. The location is also perfect for exploring Valladolid.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and wished I could have stayed longer! This is a new hostel and what Alexa and Alejandro (owners) have created is truly special - it felt more like I was sharing an apartment with friends rather than staying in a hostel. Perfect environment to cook with other guests. The outside space was great to chill and hang out in or to have some space to do my yoga. Highly recommend this hostel!

The hostel was amazing! The staff were the best, special shout-out to Antonio who gave me all the best advice. The laundry service was an amazing bonus and very well priced. The breakfast was great, the pool and the rooftop were amazing additions. It was very close to the ADO and city centre and it was very easy to take the collectivo to chichen itza and cenotes. The events organized were also very great and social.

The hostel was super clean and comfortable! the backyard area is adorable. The room was also amazing. You can see the staff really treat that place with love. José, who stays in the front desk, was super helpful to share some tips about best places to go and transportation in Valladolid. Super friendy guy!

The staff were excellent, so helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to go that weren’t crowded with tourists! This place is worth staying just for the staff. On top of that free breakfast every morning , good WIFI, kitchen well equipped and relatively comfortable room. Location is also great only a 10 min walk to the centre square
