Super friendly and helpful staff, huge kitchen, living room, all inviting. This hotel/hostel is better value and better maintained than many of the much more expensive hotels I have stayed at.

The hostel/hotel is located in the center so very convenient to explore the city. The room was uber comfortable and had scents like aroma therapy(very nice touch). It is quiet, cool and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked and water is provided. I would highly recommend to solo and couples with this travel budget. Good value.

It’s worth it to pay the extra for the breakfast at this hostel. I made friends as soon as I walked in. They offer lots of tours, which is great. I’ve been to San Chris several times and never enjoyed it until I stayed at this hostel. I will surely return next year :) I am super happy with everything. They offer free coffee and tea all day. Also offer drinking water which is wonderful for the environment. You don’t need to buy those plastic water bottles if you stay here. I had no phone data when I arrived from Guatemala and this place was super easy to find without a gps. It’s right in the main walking street. The staff was went out of their way to answer any questions I had. Even looked up the bus routes/ times to the airport for me.

Loved that there was a heater in the room and thick blankets! It was generally quiet at night and nice to have access to a kitchen. My room was very tiny; but depending on how much luggage you have this may or may not matter.

Great value room - I think a lot of the buildings in San Cristobal suffer from damp but they've obviously taken steps to address and prevent this in our room.
