Iam usually to lazy to write reviews but Barrio Vivo really deserves one. They did put so much attention for detail, energy and passion in this Hostel that I was impressed. Especially as a solotraveller you feel well placed. They have amazing people like Maru and Maude who will make you feel at home, a whatsapp group to connect the guests and there is a lot of activities organized so you never get bored. The kitchen is well equipped and the common area is a great spot to meet new people. I will always come back if i come to the wonderful city of Merida.

It has a really good price for what they offer. The location is not in the city centre but you can definitely walk to the centre. There are some small shops and a supermarket close. There's a pool which was essential for the warm weather. And the guests and staff were very friendly.

Amazing hostel, it is so nice I felt so comfortable. The staff was exceptional , always there for you, really friendly. Everyone was amazing I will always Book that place in the future

very very nice and chill hostel the owner and his family are very nice people the dog coco is AMAZING the place is so warm just by his presence the dorm are very comfy with a curtain for each bed big locker/AC the breakfast is really good the area is quite and next to the ADO station and 10 min walk to the center the volunteer working there is very nice

Acommodation is pretty nice, clean and close to the center. There is also terrace with nice view.
