One of the most beautifully designed holiday cottages I have stayed in! Absolutely stunning and so well equipped, with loads of little luxuries. We were able to easily cook meals in the kitchen as it had everything we needed and more. We were lucky with the weather so we're able to enjoy the outside space which is a sun trap and feels very private.

The location was on a very bust street but there were many pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and a supermarket very close by. Chipping Norton is a good location for bus service to other towns in the Cotswolds. Moreton in Marsh is just a short bus ride away if you are travelling by train. Buses are inexpensive, fairly frequent and generally on time. There is a bike rental company in the town if you are interested in cycling.

Make sure you go on market day in summer and take a cool bag to make the most of the produce.
Check out the yarn shop - a fantastic spot for knitters.
Take time to wander round the town and have a look at the almshouses to see what social housing used to look like.

I’ve travelled to Chipping Norton for work over the years it’s a place I’ve always enjoyed travelling to, I took my partner for a rare night away. She agreed it’s a beautiful place even the new builds blend into the scenery and there are so many different places to go off and see

The hotel is well situated to go out and about in the Cotswolds and Chipping Norton itself is a nice place to have a wander around and get a coffee or something to eat. The twin room that myself and my daughter shared was spacious as was the bathroom and the beds were comfy. Plenty of towels were provided along with complimentary shampoo/shower gels and the shower was nice and powerful. The hotel has a small car park which came in handy. The lady that met us on arrival was very friendly.
A perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. The accommodation was superb, boutique hotel standard with an amazing attention to detail and the added convenience of a fully fitted kitchen. There is also fantastic outside space, both attached to the accommodation and a short walk away, complete with comfy chairs, fire pit and barbecue and incredible views across the valley. Michael, the host, was both helpful and generous, providing a fabulous welcome basket of goodies.
It was so spacious. The fridge was large, the lounge was so comfortable and the outside yard was delightful on beautiful days. The bathrooms were great and everything was clean. You could live there for a month and be happy. We walked to town for breakfast and dinner and we were all very glad we stayed in Chipping Norton for our stay in the Cotswolds.
every meal was delicious from breakfast to lunch and dinner could not fault anything and amazing helpful staff....just a tiny comment i had duck salad on my first day yum yum yum but the next 2 days you had run out....i felt shortchanged not having it againbut everything in its place was truly lovely but that duck salad was the best.
Excellent location close to Chipping Norton High Street (but very quiet) with great selection of pubs and eateries, great secure parking, brilliant shower, very clean and within circa 30min drive of lots of places - Bourton on the water, Stow on the Wold, Bicester, Oxford, Diddly Squat and lots of Cotswold villages
The apartment was large and well appointed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen provided all of the necessities and then some. Washer and tumble dryer (a luxury for rentals in the UK) were easy to operate and made our packing much lighter. Communication with the host was amazing as well.
Lovely hotel, it really exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious, fab bathroom, very clean and quiet. Great parking, very relaxing. I stayed in a room without a golf view and I don't think I missed much. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, free wifi. I would definitely stay again!
This beautiful boutique hotel is a authentic building that relives history - nestled in a small town uninterrupted by time. The surrounding English gardens and animals. It was separated from the touristy sites but easy access to traveling the Cotswolds.
Staff were very friendly, it was a very spacious hotel, and quiet, the grounds were lovely, decor is a bit dated. Dinner in the Brassey restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffet also ok, bit limited in varietybut delicious cooked breakfast.
Very clean, a very comfortable bed and a perfect location, in easy walking distance of all of Chipping Norton. The house was laid out very nicely with all the facilities you need and it was so handy to have parking, too!
Friendly staff, great location and well appointed rooms with lovely complimentary items as part of the stay. Location is incredibly good and they have car parking (which can be a challenge in Chipping Norton)
Jenny the owner was very helpful. The breakfast whilst continental was excellent. Lower room was spacious and well appointed, although warm water for towel rail and washbasin was q bit quirky.
Really clean room, with lovely view of the sunset in the evening and thoughtful touches. Really friendly staff and great service. Great location right in the centre of Chipping Norton.
