OMG, simply paradise. The location is amazing. We booked the bungalow at the beach and I couldn’t be any happier. It was everything I had hoped for and more. The staff is fantastic! So friendly, so helpful. We received a complimentary massage and it was bliss! If you want rest and relaxation in an idyllic setting with palm trees and a beautiful beach with white sands and people who will make your stay an unforgettable one, then book this place! The WiFi is fast, the shower warm, the service amazing, and the location is PARADISE! Thank you guys for making our short stay a memorable one! What a great way to end this bucket list trip! We spent 3 wonderful days at Zen Boutique Resort. The food is amazing whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The swimming pool is large and very pleasant . The rooftop bar with a sunset view is exceptional. Sarah and her team take great care of us from the beginning to the end of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location: it may be different for everyone. It is located in a small fishing village. Step outside Mambo paradise you will immediately find yourself in the middle of the locals and their lives. It is the true Zanzibar. Staffs: very friendly and helpful. Katja, the captain of the hotel, is a star. She arranged everything we requested, big or small and reacted swiftly to any situation (a late taxi, air conditioning issue, etc). Facilities and convenience: we have everything we expected for the region (Africa) and the price we paid. I like the fact that how the hotel is structured: a few steps up from the rooms you reached the beautiful restaurant/lounge/roof top balcony, with nice breeze throughout the day and a heavenly view of the sea; coming out the of room within a few meters you will come out to the pool, then the back door directly to the beach. Water refill on both floors. Activities: with Katja’s magical power, we have experienced amazing Zanzibar-only activities, and everyone of them went so well because of her tips and the guides she arranged.

The breakfast was good, several choices on the menu. I wish I could have kept out of the bread bowl😋. All the meals we had there were very good and reasonably priced. The hotel and especially the staff were exceptional! They positively cater to your needs. We used the front desk for day trips and everything went very smoothly. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, our stay was fantastic!
