Residence Hotel Takayama Station is situated conveniently in the centre of Takayama, and offers a fitness centre, free WiFi and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Location is excellent: right outside of Takayama station! There are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to Takayama Old Town. They allowed us to use their natural hot spring at their other hotel, so you should definitely check it out! The room is big and beautiful with an excellent view. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

時のホテル is situated in Toki, within 44 km of Nagoya Station and 45 km of Aeon Mall Atsuta. The property is around 41 km from Oasis 21, 42 km from Toyota Stadium and 42 km from Nagoya Castle. Everything was great. I'd absolutely stay here again and again. The staff was not fluent in English but they were very helpful and used a translating app to speak to us. The room was clean, breakfast was great, the sauna and hot springs (2 large bath tubs) were amazing as well. 5 Stars.

Location of the hotel is very convenient as it is only a short walk from the train station. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The girl at the reception spoke good english which made check-in very easy. Breakfast was superb and the cafe staff was friendly.

Ideally located in the Hida Takayama Onsen district of Takayama, Relax Hotel Takayama Station is set 2.3 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, 48 km from Gero Station and 700 metres from Fuji Folk... Everything, the location is superb, just 2 minutes from the train and bus station (or even 1 minute if you run). The room is really new, and it feels like a 4 or 5 star hotel stay. It is spacious, have full amenities, a kitchen with full equipment, TV with Youtube and Netflix. They even provide free laundry. Moreover, the staff is super friendly. Definitely will stay here again if I come back to Takayama.

We traveled with a toddler and this is no easy feat but the hotel had a designated play room with books, toys galore, coloring materials, stuffed animals and even a ball pit! The onsen was so relaxing after a long day of walking and the views are spectacular. If you enjoy a good breakfast then you’re in luck because the buffet offers not only a good variety but also quality. The shuttle service was really the star, without it this place would be out of the way. I would stay here again!

We visited here one night only, but were blown away by the quality of the food and the exceptional service. The staff were all kind and made our honeymoon feel that much more special, including taking photos for us (which they gave framed to us later!) and a surprising gift as well. They fed us so much delicious food during breakfast and dinner as well, and we enjoyed every bite. I've been the numerous ryokans before, but this experience was truly a cut above. Would gladly go back given a chance, and loved the convenient location as well to explore Takayama. Can't recommend enough!

i walked from the station , not too bad , very new place , bed was great slept so well , the bestpart is the 4 little onsens , just see if one is unlocked and its your own dressing room wash area onsen tub open to the sky , big enough for 2 , so peace full. great town , great bbq place on the way back to the station , enjoy the beef there.
