It makes the job. For this price, don't expect something amazing. If you just look for a bed and a warm shower, then it's fine! The staff is kind. I also could park my bicycle in a safe place and protected from the rain.

I spent only 2 nights in Nagasaki and wish I'd had more time. It is a big city with much to see and do. Our ferry to the coal island was cancelled do to windy weather and we were called and refunded which was nice. We spend a lot of time at the museum and found it very interesting. We went to the port, where we saw the Queen Elizabeth boarding and had lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant very close on the 5th floor - very popular! There is a street for shopping for souvenirs very close too!
Nagasaki has much more than I saw and wish I can go again!

Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.

A beautiful city which has unique history of being exposed to other countries, i.e. China, Netherlands, Portugal / Spain, England while the rest of the country was closed. It is also an important witness and victim of the A-bomb.
Don't forget to enjoy the view from Inasa yama.
Also, it offers various food options - shippoku-ryori can be eaten approximately 4000 per person if it is lunch.
We did not get to go to islands and Shimabara etc this time as well as House tembos....
It is a little hard to access by shinkansen now, but it was worth a visit.

The Night View is one of the best I've ever seen (second only to Hong Kong). We went up on the Rope Way, then discovered there was a Slope Car ascent as well--great for a return trip. The Dejima Wharf was a fantastic place to walk. The food in the restaurants around the city was wonderful. The trolley was fun, too.

A short stay like 2 days & 2 nights should be able to cover...
A short stay like 2 days & 2 nights should be able to cover all the major attractions in Nagasaki. Booked a hotel that provides onsen as it will be useful after much walking from one attraction to another. Buy the one-day tram pass and plan the number of attractions you can cover within the day or night... Then, have a good dinner at the Nagasaki Dejima Wharf... very good sashimi and must try the Uni Donburi!
The Global View Nagasaki was fairly central but there was still a 20 minute walk to get anywhere, even the main station so taking trams was the best bet. Fortunately there is a tram and also bus station directly outside the hotel which was essential for getting around. Aside from location the staff were friendly enough, however they did complain a little when I asked to be moved from a smoking to non-smoking room which I found quite surprising and explained to them that their Booking did not indicate that I was booking a smoking room.
The hotel is within 15 mins walk away from Nagasaki station. The walk is manageable as you need to walk along the malls. The room size is manageable and the breakfast spread is awesome. Free ramen supper as usual. There is also an onsen, massage chair and free ice-pop (PM)/yakult (AM) at the 14th floor. 7-11 is directly located in the same hotel building. U can use your room card to access within the hotel lobby. The hotel is also located near the tram station. Recommend to get day pass to enjoy unlimited rides around the city.
Absolutely lovely hotel. Beautiful, helpful and efficient staff made the stay so smooth and restful.
Huge room. Wonderful food. The most amazing view over Nagasaki and its harbour from the sitting area in our room. Loved it. Also great minibus service to and from hotel to train station (central area); the drivers are amazing. The hill is really something else! Use of onsen at next door sister hotel was very welcome. The onsen at Koyotei is nice and clean but a little small.
I like the room very much. It's really clean and comfortable. The location is also really good. Just 2 min walk from Nagasaki Bus Station. And also, it's very reasonable compared to "business hotel". There's a range of basic kitchen utensils too like cups, spoons, plates etc. There's also a washing machine downstairs.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here and will definitely come back again!
The Global View Nagasaki is conveniently located near the Nagasaki train station. There is also convenient tram service making it easy to explore the local sites. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The Kitchen located on the top floor offers a wonderful selection of delicious foods for breakfast with great views overlooking the city.
The location is next to Nagasaki Station. It is a good location, but they’re under construction outside Nagasaki station and need to take extra few minutes to reach. Even though, its still have good location.
The Hotel is on the mall, there are different restaurants available for the residents to enjoy.
Great loction, very very friendly owner which had a cup of tea with me in the evening and told me about history and sightseeing recommandations. Great area to start all of your tours in and around Nagasaki. Very cute common area with free tea and coffee and a fridge in case you like to store some staff.
Best hotel I have ever been in Japan.
Nice room, big space inside the room, nice shower, new room.
Bags are already in the room when return to checkin at the evening.
Good amenities, free ice cream, free ramen.
Breakfast is nice with lots of variety to select from.
Best of the best!!!!
Staffs are very friendly, warm and helpful. They also provide a package of drip coffee (their specialty blend)each day. The room is very spacious, clean, comfortable and I had good sleep during my stay. The location is very close to Nagasaki station and the bus stop to Nagasaki Airport.
This is a great hotel if your intention is to hop in and hop out the next day. Nearby to Jr station and eateries and some shopping. But it's a bit far from Nagasaki station, maybe because of the ongoing renovation for better access in the future. And this place is nearby 2 tram line.
The hotel is very well situated at 5min walking to Dejima wharf and to Chinatown. There's even a tram stop in front that goes straight to Nagasaki Station. The facilities where good, the bed was comfortable and the room spacious enough for 1 person to pass. Breakfast is not bad.
1. Breakfast was excellent, with the local Nagasaki speciality foods available.
2. Room was spacious, & the amenities were very high quality
3. Car parking was onsite, and reasonably priced given the hotel's location
Great location close to the tram and walking distance to Dejima wharf. Good choice of breakfast items. Very quiet location. Bonus to have laundry facilities in hotel. Loved the public bath with great view
The hotel is located just beside Nagasaki Chinatown and accessible to main attraction Dejima and shopping districts Hamamachi area. The room size is huge and exceed our expectation.
Very convenient and the parking area is big, very accessible going to Nagasaki china town, harbor & glover garden 🪴 Breakfast is so good many food options 🥗
The best hotel in Nagasaki! The staff, the facilities, cleanliness, access to public transportation, etc., A go to place to stay on that side of Japan.
