Back in 2019 I stayed at 123 hotel Fukuyama. It was not available this year, so I got this instead. Honestly, I don't regret it. Everything was an upgrade. The room is big, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean.
I honestly have nothing to gripe about. This booking was a bull's eye.

Everything was just lovely. A beautiful room, with a great view of the surrounds, lovely dinner and breakfast, nice bath facilities. Its a great option in Tomonoura as it is in town rather than down the road, so everything is walkable. Shuttle service from Fukuyama station is very convenient. The town itself was very cozy and historical with many stories and people to hear about. The accommodation we stayed in had a lovely view of the village as it was higher up and the staff were unbelievable friendly. We were even given a little village tour at our arrival. Necessary amenities were included.

Very convenient if you're going to see Fukuyama Castle or want to be close to the station to go via bus to Tomonoura for example. There is a mall nearby, a traditional 50s, 60s type shopping quarter too, and Fukuyama Station itself has a lot of stores and restaurants, so you can get anything you need. There is also a full grocery store on the B1 floor a couple of steps from the hotel, and an Animate as well for anyone interested in Japanese manga and gamer culture.
We had the Fukuyama Castle view from our window so we could see the Dino eggs change colors and the light show along the wall and over at the church. A nice seasonal touch. The room was large and the hot water shower/soaking tub was wonderful. There were plenty of outlets for all our chargers.
The hotel is right across the street from the JR Station which has a substantial food court and shopping options.
So near the castle! though I was not lucky enough to be assigned a room with a view of the castle. Similarly distanced is the train station. surprisingly in a commercial area. convenient check in and checkout. loved the tatami floor of the room. quite spacious. has in-house coin laundry (but, … see what i didn’t like) great staff, from the reception to the cleaners
Very near Fukuyama Station so great for daytrips to nearby places like Hiroshima, Okayama, Onomichi, etc. Staff were friendly and welcoming (even though my Japanese is limited, we managed to communicate okay). Loved the room with its big windows and the privacy of the bunks.
Super friendly and attentive staff (especially Hanami, tusind tak 😁), beautiful view of Sensui Island, beautifully decorated room, great private onsen w/view. We also took advantage of the free shuttle from Fukuyama station to the hotel - very convenient.
Last min hotel booking as we missed the last shinkansen to Osaka. Great and professional service, very helpful front desk even in the late hours of the night. Comfortable room with necessary amenities. Close to station. Good night's rest after a long day.
I booked this room on a whim because I needed a place to stay near Fukuyama station and was absolutely blown away by the size and stylishness of the room. Easily the best hotel I stayed in for the price while in Japan.
Modern, fresh feeling hotel next to train station. Room had a great view of Fukuyama Castle. Many eateries nearby. Staff is friendly and always helpful. Small but well designed room and bath.
Amazing facilities and clean. Everything and more for a stay in a true Love Hotel! Outdoor and indoor spas, wonderful amenities and vending machines and the breakfast was lovely. Thank you.
Great location, between Fukuyama train station and the entertainment district. Super-friendly and helpful staff. A great bath and shower area. Comfortable and quiet capsule.
The view from the room was phenomenal. We used the private onsen and again the view was breathtaking. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and always very helpful.
